KlimaINVEST makes targeted investments in companies and project management firms which are focused on CO2-emission rights, renewable energy and cleantech– sectors which profit overproportionally from the booming climate protection market.

Projects and companies which appeal to us have invested in technologies, products and services which are unique and have a  first-mover advantage. We are on the lookout for companies and project firms with an experienced, motivated and talented management, which believes in the success of its business model and the sustainable growth of its company.

It is particularily important to us that a target company/project has (or can develop) strategic and commercial synergies with our current portfolio companies.

Individual portfolio companies which complement each other due to their raw material base, geographical location, technological affinity and/or customer base. Additional market places and strategic platforms are opened up that way, providing an increase in efficiency and value. Outperforming projects are built up and accelerated.

We do not engage in technical „grass roots“ project development and micro-management investments that are questionable in macro-economic or ethical terms (such as the generation of renewable energy  at the expense of food production).
